Consistency in Skin Care: By Erin

There are many experiences or things that inspire me or just make me feel great about what I do, one in particular is my client Cathy M. I first met Cathy when she was referred to me by her friend. She came to me with an extreme case of acne, she had been on Accutane twice and as you know this is a serious medication that only your Doctor can prescribe to you.  It has MANY side effects which include depression, bowel disorders and even birth defects. Being on this extreme medication twice had no beneficial skin changes for Cathy. So I started educating her about her skin and what she would need to do in order to cure this issue.  We started off doing Facials using our Epicuren line every 2 weeks as well as an at-home regime. Her skin having a drastic change, she was off the Accutane within a month.

One thing I will say about Cathy is she listened to my recommendations and she stuck with it! She has been coming to me for about 6 years and sees me religiously every 4 weeks for her facials and waxing. Consistency in skin care is key!
